About Our Program
Patterson Adult School is proud to partner with Western Pacific Truck School to offer a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program. This 160-hour training combines classroom, lab, and hands-on field instruction using real industry equipment to prepare students for careers as professional truck drivers.

Program Structure:

Week 1: Classroom theory and permit preparation

Weeks 2–4 (or 7): Field training for pre-trip, skills, and driving tests
Program Costs
Enrollment Fee: $200 (non-refundable, paid to Patterson Adult School)
Please note: Our Class A CDL Program is a high-demand course with limited seats, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The next session is planned for February, with official dates to be announced the week of January 12th.
Admission Requirements

You must be 18 years of age or older.

You must provide a valid photo ID and Social Security Card.

You must pass and maintain a clean criminal background check and maintain a clean drug screening.

You must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption as required by externship sites.

You must meet all CDL eligibility criteria, including a DOT physical exam and a clean driving record (Western Pacific will clear students on these steps)
