Truck Driving Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

About Our Program

Patterson Adult School is proud to partner with Western Pacific Truck School to offer a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program. This 160-hour training combines classroom, lab, and hands-on field instruction using real industry equipment to prepare students for careers as professional truck drivers.

Program Highlights:

Program Structure:

  • Week 1: Classroom theory and permit preparation

  • Weeks 2–4 (or 7): Field training for pre-trip, skills, and driving tests

Program Costs

Enrollment Fee: $200 (non-refundable, paid to Patterson Adult School)

Admission Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.

  • You must provide a valid photo ID and a Social Security Card.

  • You must pass and maintain a clean criminal background check and maintain a clean drug screening.

  • You must meet all CDL eligibility criteria, including a DOT physical exam and a clean driving record (Western Pacific will clear students on these steps)
